The Ruby Heist

Aladdin is probably one of my favorite Disney films of all time. I’ve even grown to not only appreciate, but actually really enjoy the Will Smith version. After about the fifth viewing with my kids I thought, “Yeah… okay yeah this isn’t bad”. After the tenth viewing it had a special place reserved in my heart. So I was thrilled when a friend of mine asked to commission an Abu themed painting. It was a joy to work on. If you’re interested in the process, you can watch the time lapse of the entire painting.
