LOST BOYS

I was first inspired to create this painting almost 4 years ago while driving up to Lake Tahoe. Staring into the snow and trees, I was imagining Liam, about 6 months old at the time, lost in the woods. At first it was a terrifying thought. My baby, alone, cold in the snowy mountains. But then a funny thing happened... He was found by a tribe of other "lost" boys and they took care of him. They clothed him and fed him and suddenly he wasn't so alone. I imagined what it would be like for these boys to survive in these mountains. The hardships and the wild animals they'd come across. And just like that, a painting was born in my imagination. Almost 4 years later, finally the finished product.Lost Boys. 30″ x 40″.
